Comfort Food at Chili’s

Yes peepz… my food tasting journey around KL will not be complete without going to one of my favorite places to have my ‘comfort food’. I have been a great fan of Chili’s ever since they opened at KLCC (my other favourite branch is at 1 Utama). I must admit that I used to frequent this place at least once a month! Talking about expanding waistline; no wonder it’s so hard to lose weight back in the old days…LOL!

First stop was the soup of the day which was Beef ribs soup with Vegetables.  Very tasty and the beef aroma from the soup was great. 8/10

Next on the table was the Caesar’s Salad with garlic & lime grilled prawns. A healthy huge  serving of lightly sauced salad with juicy fresh prawns. Wonderful dish and my all time favorite! 9/10.

While we were chomping on the salad, the Grilled lamb shoulder came. I initially wanted to order their Lamb Shank but was told it is no longer in their menu. Another great dish, which comes with mashed potatoes with black pepper gravy, seasonal veggies & garlic toast.  7/10

We also ordered the Triple Play, a combination of 3 of their famous starters; Chicken Crispers, Wings Over Buffalo and Southwestern Eggrolls. My favorite was the Southwestern Eggrolls. I also enjoy the dips, especially the honey mustard dip. Wohoo…wonderful! 9/10

There are loads of other items in their menu and it’s not possible to order them all in one sitting LOL! Besides,  their portions are quite large too. Will feature other great comfort food there in the near future. Cheers!
