My food trek continues with this all-time favourite western themed restaurant. So far, I have been to three of their outlets, at E-Curve (formerly Cineleisure), at Mont Kiara and another one at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng (which I heard is now closed). Although all their outlets served the same foods, I must add that the one at E-Curve tasted better, IMHO.
We had the ‘Roma’s Sampler’, which is like Chili’s Triple Play. There’s the famous Onion Loaf (which is bit too oily but tasty!), Buffalo Wings and Potato Skins. Tasted great and much better than Chili’s Triple Play. My favourite here is the Potato Skins. RM39.90+ Ratings 9/10
The Tony Roma’s experience will not be complete without trying out their signature food, which is Bountiful Beef Ribs (RM48.90+). My kids loved it but to me the meats are bit too hard to chew, felt like it’s over-cooked. Ratings 4/10
Another interesting dish is Tony’s Asian Salads, with greens, red peppers, Thai chili sauce, fried wonton noodles and sesame seeds. Served Pan Asian dressing, which is sweet and sour. We chosed crispy chicken as toppings. 7/10
Finally we ended our meal with The Dessert Trio, which is a sample three delicious mini desserts. As usual, my kids loved it and finished them in record breaking time! 7/10. A good and satisfying meal at Tony Roma’s. Looking forward to go there again to try out the Steak & Wild Mushroom Flatbread and Wahyu Beef Burger.
